Lake Ridge Academy: Admissions Made Easy!

Welcome to Lake Ridge Academy! We understand you might have questions before applying. This page provides a clear overview of our admissions process, making it simple to learn more and take the next step.

We encourage you to apply during our priority application period, which opens September 13th, 2024, and closes January 17th, 2025. 

Admissions decisions will be announced on February 10, 2025. Students in the wait pool will be notified if space becomes available. 

Applications received outside this window are considered on a space-available basis. Please contact our admissions team for more information on mid-year transfers or rolling admissions. Financial aid considerations are separate from the admissions process.

Costs To Apply

Application Fee:
  • Grades K-2: $75, which includes testing and screening at Lake Ridge.
  • Grades 3-11: $40. Testing for these grades requires the ISEE exam. (See ISEE fee below)
Financial Aid Application: $60
 
ISEE Testing for grades 3-11: $155+
 
Registration Fee: To secure your child's spot, a $1,500 registration fee is required upon enrollment. While this fee is deducted from tuition, it is not covered by Ed Choice Scholarships.

  • Create an Account

    Visit our Parent Portal to create a new account and begin the online application process.

  • Complete the Application

    Please complete the online application form and the submission checklist of required documents. 

    Application Fees:
    • $75 for grades K-2. This includes testing and screening at Lake Ridge.
    • $40  for grades 3-11. Applicants in these grades will take the ISEE exam which has a separate testing fee.

  • Teacher Recommendations & School Records (Grades 1-11)

    Use the Parent Portal to request school records and teacher recommendations from your child's current school. Students applying for 6th grade and above need two teacher recommendations, preferably from Math and English instructors.   

  • Shadow Day (Grades 1-11)

    As part of the application process, we can schedule a shadow day for your child to experience a school day at Lake Ridge Academy and to meet our faculty and students.

  • Testing

    Grades 1-2: On-campus literacy, math, and writing assessments will be scheduled for your child.

    Grades 3-11    : Register for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). The testing fee is $155+.
    • ISEE Test Center: Lake Ridge Academy is a test site (code: 363857). The ISEE website has available dates, other locations, and registration information.
    • ISEE Online Option: Test from the comfort of your home! Select "ProProctor At Home Test" during registration. 
    • Students may take the ISEE once per testing session, up to three times a year, in the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer.

    *We recommend completing the ISEE by December. Please use our school test code (363857), so scores will be sent directly to us.
